The court judgment on what has been described as Sweden’s largest corruption case will be presented today.

Today, Tuesday, the court judgment of the corruption case involving the Swedish Prison and Probation Service will be public.

A former top manager of the Prison and Probation Services and three company representatives are accused of providing themselves with millions of SEK in connections with construction projects building new prisons.

The total amount of the suspected bribes add up to approximately 40 million SEK. The trial started in January 2014 and was finished in June 2014. If the accused would be found guilty they are at risk of facing long prison sentences.
