Post-Car Wash – The true effects of corruption

The early stages of the Brazilian Operation known as ”Car Wash” targeted the Oil&Gas and civil construction markets.
Its development, however, opened the curtains to much more than that, showing a way of doing business that extended to several segments of the local economy, including healthcare, infrastructure, education, automotive, telecom, among others. Additionally, it shook off not only the Brazilian political structure, but also several Latin American countries’.
The seminar aims to discuss not only the internal investigation local environment, enforcement trends and risks of Brazil and Latin American countries, but also how to avoid common pitfalls that Nordic companies should be aware of when doing business in the region.
During the event, presentations will be made by two experts from the international law firm TozziniFreire Advogados followed by an interactive panel session during which practical scenarios and dilemmas will be discussed.
The seminar is free of charge and will be held in english.
